VIth Seminar - "Digital Exclusion in the Information Society”
27-28 January 2012
The evolution of all the existing technological resources is far from being available to everyone. In today’s society of information, digital illiteracy is a means to social exclusion, which is worth our full attention.
Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) do, however, play a crucial role in the promotion of development if they are used in the solution of problems society faces in different activity sectors and mainly if they are made available to each citizen.
This VIth Seminar aims to promote the discussion and sharing of knowledge that might contribute to fight against info-exclusion, and to favour accessibility to ICTS. We welcome contributions referring to scientific and technological papers or to good practices in this area.
